Can't tell you how much we here at Salem Area Habitat for Humanity have enjoyed using your product. My first order was on blind faith that it looked like a great idea, and was quickly shown that prayers do get answered. As you probably know, Habitat for Humanity uses almost all volunteer labor. I took very little teaching to explain and show how to use THE NAILER and after some initial stumbling, the volunteers were looking for more places to put them and talked about removing some studs and saving them for the next house! I can tell you that THE NAILER preformed beautifully for us in a pretty good example of a stress test. In August of 2002, our affiliate built a house in 12 days at the Oregon State Fair, during the fair. A house moving company came in and set up two steel I beams that we built the entire house on from start to finish, and then moved the intact home onto its permanent foundation 1 mile from initial build site. After the house was moved, it was jacked up until we poured the foundation under it, and then lowered. We had an amazingly low number of cracks in the drywall and none involved THE NAILER. Well done!

A decade ago or so I was wandering the aisles of a building trade show and in a far corner I found a little booth with a product called THE NAILER.  Sitting on top a folding table was a big bowl of simple T-shaped pieces that I was told were drywall fasteners for supporting interior drywall corners.  The vender told me that if I used this simple green building product I would assuredly save money and time.  I decided to listen to his spiel.

The vender turned out to be Andy Pizer, the inventor of THE NAILER and it was clear that he believed in his product.  Andy said he invented THE NAILER because he was weary of expensive call backs due to truss uplift and hated the arduous task of putting in blocking on every top plate and vertical corner.  He told me we would save money on labor, that my subcontractors would not have to cut through extra framing for electrical and plumbing installation and that our insulation would fit snugly and easily making my homes more energy efficient.  He said it would change the way we built.

He was right.  We have been using THE NAILER for over 10 years.  THE NAILER has been as simple and easy to use as Andy said it would be…and it does everything he said it would do.  We simply don’t build without THE NAILER!

I am glad to see that they are finally taking the product national so other parts of the country can enjoy the benefits of this product like we have been doing.  It is better than a stud!

This product saves a minimum of $300 per 1,000 square feet of living space on material.  All of the wood blocking on top plates and vertical corners is eliminated.  Major construction companies could eliminate $2.5 million in material costs a year and conserve that volume of wood.  Five NAILERS eliminate one stud. Labor costs are dramatically reduced since THE NAILER can be installed in half the time of traditional blocking and be done by someone with little or no experience.  Using this product also saves time for electricians and plumbers who now do not have to cut through traditional blocking.Using THE NAILER eliminates to difficult to insulate corners found in most sidewall construction.  Full bats can be placed in the corners with no interruption of insulation.  This eliminates corner freezing and cracking.THE NAILER is made of 100% recycled HDPE #2 plastic.  This product ends up maintaining longevity and durability and at the same time eliminates hundreds of thousands of five gallon buckets that are dumped into landfills. A side benefit of THE NAILER is that it is connected to the sidewall partitions and so can reduce the amount of truss uplift.  This occurs when the trusses arch from season to season due to temperature and humidity change.  This can eliminate a lot of ceiling repair costs and labor from corner cracking.I had read about this concept and have actually introduced it in my construction classes.  I was very pleased to find this product and use it in the construction of our Eco-Home.

Our customers have been using the NAILER in their homes for the past two years. They like the fact that it saves time and material and improves overall thermal efficiency by eliminating wood backing in outside wall cavities. The NAILER is easy for them to understand and makes good sense.

I used the NAILER in the installation of a bathroom in a corner of my room. The NAILER is strong, fast, and easy to install. I had no problems at all using the NAILER. It was most helpful to me in the corner where I had no room to nail a strip of wood. Being made of recycled materials is a plus for the NAILER. Anytime I purchase drywall you can be sure I will also purchase the NAILER.

I would recommend the use of the NAILER. I had to make a small repair in my old home and used the NAILER with complete success. They are strong, don't split, and definitely plenty strong. They make use of recycled plastic which we have in abundance. I will probably get a supply of them if I ever get into a remodeling project here.

I refinished by laundry room using the NAILER. The NAILER saved a lot of time and was a snap to install. I have used metal clips in the past and found them to be hard to hide with the tape, but with the NAILER you do not have that problem. I would recommend it to everybody.

The product that you sent for me to test came just in time. I was just finishing a small remodeling job at home and was able to use them to hang some of my drywall. The NAILER was great. It's sturdy construction holds drywall securely saves on money and materials by replacing the wood needed for blocking and laths runs. It's environmentally friendly because it's made from recycled plastics. Great for use with paneling also.

There are two reasons I would recommend the NAILER
In remodeling, it is much easier to install than a wood backing.
It gives more room for insulating. Fiberglass has a better R value than wood.

It seems you sent this product just in time. I was putting up drywall in my shop and when I reached the corners, I used the NAILER. It was a real time saver as I did not have to build a corner or use those lousy clips that are hard to spackle over. Just as the directions indicated, the NAILER was easy to install to the stud with a 1/2" staple and when it came time to screw the sheet rock to the NAILER, it was a breeze as the dimpled screw surface kept the screw from "skating" and elongating the hole. I put several in the freezer for a couple of days and immediately upon removal, applied them to a corner joist. As with some plastic, I expected it to crack, but the NAILER did not. I am pleased that there is a great and simple alternative to the drywall "corner nailing" problem and I would highly recommend this product to professionals & "DIY's" alike.

Your product arrived at the perfect time as I was remodeling my bedroom. I used them on a sofit that I built around the border of my room. I would recommend this product because it saved me a lot of time by not having to cut so much wood, which means I used less lumber. A big plus because I saved a lot of money. In general, this product saved a lot of construction time and also a lot of money. I highly recommend, that people trying to do things themselves, to use the NAILER to save time.

I used the NAILER at a friend's house for a remodeling job. Work time and materials were cut down considerably. Was more sold then expected. I found nails were more solid than staples. Like a recycled product.

I used the NAILER for mounting some wallboard from a ceiling. It made the job go much smoother & easier. There was no need to cut crib boards for our edges.
